I am Kathy Simons, residing in Liverpool. In July 2022, our family endured a profound loss with the passing of our mother, June Sewill. She was an incredibly inspirational figure, maintaining her smile and fearless spirit throughout her battles with breast cancer, two strokes, angina, and more. Her passing left a void within me, alongside a house brimming with old photographs.

I inherited a collection of photographs from my mum's house, which I adore perusing. For my mum's eulogy, I compiled a video of her life using these old photographs and noticed that each had sustained some damage over time. I began restoring them, blending the old with the new, and was so delighted with the outcome that I started repairing other photographs to return them to their original glory, or as close as possible. Since then, I've been honored to repair photographs for others, helping them preserve cherished family memories.

Photography may be a recent pursuit for me, though I've always enjoyed snapping photos. My interest deepened after my mum passed away, and it has since blossomed into a passion. I don't specialize in any particular subject; I relish capturing everything from animals and nature to people. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph music gigs and festivals, which you can view in the prints and galleries section. All images on the site are available for purchase.
